You even have the chance to meet some big names in the industry – fly tiers and anglers alike. Get your hands on new gear, tying materials and fly patterns. Take some time to watch experts give casting demonstrations and tips on the casting pond. Heck, even put that rod you’ve had your eye on in your hand and give it a few casts.
Orvis has compiled a pretty comprehensive list of 2024 consumer fly-fishing shows. The closest listed to the Tennessee Valley are Atlanta, Georgia, and Gulf Shores. But who wouldn’t want to make a vacation and road trip to Mountain Home, Arkansas, Arlington, Vermont, or even Sacramento?
