Want to enjoy the start of the 2025 RCM Half Marathon without being cold, having numb fingers or a stinging nose and ears?
It was a chilly blastoff at the 9 a.m. start in front of the Von Braun Center in Huntsville. Hundreds of eager runners in their best winter running attire took to the streets for a fun 13-mile toodle. Along the way they got to enjoy the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, Huntsville Botanical Gardens holiday lights and some other scenery.
The half-marathon runners merged with the marathoners at about mile 15, finishing the races together in the VBC South Hall.
