HydraPak launches its new ultra-light, efficient PackFlask Collection for any backpack with a harness-mounted hydration system.
The collection is available now at HydraPak.com and REI stores nationwide. The PackFlask line offers outdoor enthusiasts a versatile, hands-free hydration option for every adventure.
Inspired by the rising popularity of running vests, HydraPak’s PackFlask features a stretch-mesh pouch that easily attaches to the front of a pack’s harness, securely holding a soft flask for effortless on-the-go hydration. Whether you’re hiking, backpacking, or thru-hiking, the PackFlask delivers splash-free drinking. It has a high-flow, self-sealing silicone nozzle and a flip lid that protects from dust, mud and bacteria.
“The PackFlask is a prime example of how our product team’s cross-category work enables us to continuously innovate in the hydration space,” said Jennifer Krupkey, Vice President of Marketing. “While hydration innovation in running is moving at a fast clip, we recognized a lack of a comparably convenient system for hikers. The PackFlask line closes that gap by introducing a harness-mounted hydration solution, similar to what you’d find on a running vest, which is easily accessible and transferable to almost every pack.”
Short, Long Options
For shorter adventures, the PackFlask is available in 500ml and 750ml sizes. For longer adventures with frequent water access, the PackFlask+ includes an integrated filter cap that removes E. coli, Cryptosporidium parvum cysts, and Giardia lamblia. The filter treats approximately 1,500 liters per minute and can be backflushed to restore performance. The compact 42mm squeeze-filter setup is constructed from durable TPU. It has RF-welded seams for long-term use in demanding outdoor environments.
PackFlask will be available beginning February 2026 with an MSRP of $42 for the 500 ml PackFlask and $45 for the 750 ml PackFlask. PackFlask+ 750 ml will retail for $72.
The PackFlask line will be available directly at HydraPak.com, at all REI locations nationwide, and through specialty outdoor retailers across the U.S. HydraPac makes a variety of hydration options for biking, running and other outdoors activities.
