Usal and OOFOS have come together to reimagine comfort footwear with the new Cochno Clog, a limited-edition style in which technology meets nature-driven design.
Inspired by the mysterious carvings of the Cochno Stone the Cochno Clog features custom spiral graphics rooted in ancient petroglyph patterns. The Concho Stone is one of the world’s most intriguing ancient rock art sites. These motifs symbolize growth, return, and upward motion. This reflects a belief shared by both brands: progress is not linear, but spiraled.
In nature, the spiral represents evolution rather than repetition, each turn building on the last. The Cochno Clog is built for post-movement recovery and everyday wear.
At its foundation is OOFOS’ innovative OOfoam. It absorbs 37 percent more impact than traditional footwear foam. This helps reduce stress on knees, ankles and joints. A sculpted, contoured footbed supports arches and promotes natural alignment, allowing the body to reset, recover, and restore throughout the day.
The Usal Project, a Los Angeles–based community organization, helps make nature and outdoor experiences accessible to everyone. It was founded in 2022 by Michael Washington. Through regular hikes and camping to workshops and wellness programming, Usal fosters connection to nature, self and community. The organization has since expanded to New York City.
