Therm-a-Rest Expands Boost Line with New Synthetic Option

Therm-a-Rest is expanding its award-winning Boost sleep system collection for Spring 2027 with the new Boost SN 32F/0C synthetic sleeping bag.

The new bag was developed in response to growing demand for a synthetic alternative to the original Boost 650. It delivers the series’ signature spacious comfort and adaptable warmth with 85 percent recycled polyester insulation. It features Therm-a-Rest’s expandable WarmZip technology. The Boost SN creates a roomier sleep experience without sacrificing packability or trail-ready performance. It will be available in a Midnight color.

“When Boost 650 launched in 2025, Therm-a-Rest set a new standard for spacious comfort and versatility in down sleeping bags,” said Chris Davis, Therm-a-Rest Product Line Manager. “We quickly heard strong demand from campers and backpackers looking for those same benefits in a synthetic option, particularly for wetter climates and variable conditions. Boost SN builds on the success of the original design by pairing our expandable WarmZip system with recycled hollow-fiber insulation in a surprisingly packable and affordable package. This helps more people stay comfortable and sleep better outdoors regardless of the forecast.”

Additional comfort-focused features include insulated arm holes, an interior slip pocket and a durable recycled nylon shell fabric. The Boost SN will be available in:
Regular (MSRP: $219.95 USD, $299.95 CAN)
Regular Wide (MSRP: $239.95 USD, $329.95 CAN)
Long (MSRP: $259.95 USD, $349.95 CAN)
Long Wide (MSRP: $279.95 USD, $369.95 CAN)

The original Boost 650 returns for Spring 2027 in a new Spruce color. It retains the same comfort-first design and performance features that helped establish the series.

The new Boost SN and updated Boost 650 will be available at www.thermarest.com and select retailers beginning in January 2027.
