HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The Dizzy Fifties 50K was held in Huntsville Saturday morning with a field of 50 runners, and Huntsville’s Tyson Jouglet, 35, crossed the line first with a time of 4:27:11, two minutes ahead of second-place finisher James Ebert, also 35, of Huntsville, with a time of 4:29:08. Kyle Chiriboga, 22, also of Huntsville, finished third at 4:57:09.
The top-finishing female was Huntsville’s Brittany Berger, 31, (11th overall), while Amelia Harrison, 23, of New Market was second (19th overall) with a time of 6:39:41, and third was Huntsville’s Perla Nunez, 41, at 6:46:15.
Sponsors of the Dizzy Fifties were Progress Bank and Old Town Beer Exchange.
