The Atomo Star was designed by drawing inspiration from one of Diadora’s most successful models, the Mythos Star II. Its silhouette was adapted with a modern understanding of running shoe geometry. Atomo Star is enhanced with advanced mechanical properties to meet the needs of the most demanding runners.

The Atomo Star features Diadora’s Anima N2 supercritical midsole compound and a 6 mm drop. Weighing 275 grams, it offers an ideal combination of lightness, cushioning and energy return. The result is an optimally-balanced shoe, perfect for long runs where maximum comfort is essential. It also offers enhanced responsiveness for harder efforts and faster paces. Anima N2 gives the shoe a reactivity of 72 percent, an increase of 40 percent and a weight reduction of 40 percent compared to EVA Light.
Key Materials
For a comfortable fit in the forefoot, midfoot and collar, the upper is made from breathable double-layered Air Mesh. It has an integrated Unitongue construction that incorporates the tongue to the inner layer. To withstand road elements and high mileage, the outsole is made with Duratech 5000. It’s high abrasion resistance makes the Atomo Star a reliable daily trainer.
