TVO Roundup: Grayson Highlands, Corinth 10K and New Notes

It was a quiet weekend for the TVO Roundup, a welcome break after a flurry of events in the area the last few weeks.

The big shebang last weekend was the 47th Strolling Jim 40-Miler up in Tennessee. This annual old school ultra attracts runners from all over the country. Many from the TVO area dive into this iconic May event.

First, a few notes before the roundup.

Kids Triathlon Clinic

Omni Kids Tri will host a free Kids Triathlon Clinic on May 31 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) University Fitness Center.

The clinic is limited to the first 25 kids, ages 7-14, to register. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the sport of triathlon and practice swimming, biking and running skills. The clinic will be led by USA Track & Field SafeSport-certified adult triathletes, including a USA Triathlon-certified coach.
