The Cathedral Caverns race is unique. It starts in a beautiful valley with picturesque mountains and fields in the background. The trail race is designed for both new and experienced trail runners alike. The last 1.2 miles of the 5k and 15k runs through the cave is an out-and-back .6-mile segment that is wide enough for two-way traffic. Runners pick up glow sticks at the turnaround point, and decorative lighting lights the way in the caves.
