CamelBak Launches New, Redesigned Run Hydration Vest Collection

CamelBak has launched a new line of running hydration vests that include the Zephyr Pro and Trail Run, as well as the fully redesigned Circuit Vest.

These versatile hydration vests blend technical elements, such as a body-mapped design for comfort and stability, with features including lightweight, breathable materials. Advanced pocket configurations improve performance and reliability in any running situation.

“At CamelBak, we live for designing products that help people get outdoors to have great adventures, whether they are running an ultramarathon, discovering a new trail, or just enjoying nature at any pace they choose,” said Emma Axtell, hike and run product manager at CamelBak. “Trail running and endurance running, in general, has continued to grow in popularity as a great way to get outdoors and enjoy some exercise. We’re excited to bring three new feature-packed vest models to runners of all levels.”

The latest hydration vests from CamelBak are available in three distinct models — in both men’s and women’s specific fits — that are ideal for any runner from beginner to expert level.

Zephyr Pro Vest

For trail runners who demand the best in performance for ultra-long distance training regiments and races, the Zephyr Pro Vest (MSRP $160) is the ultimate piece of running equipment to keep you going mile after mile. The Zephyr Pro is constructed of ultralight 40D Ultra ripstop coated with C0 DWR. Engineered mesh is treated with Polygiene to keep the vest light and breathable while providing weather repellency and antibacterial protection.

Heading into the backcountry is made better with features such as a stowable and removable trekking pole quiver for quick and easy access, secure pocket designs to carry gear and essentials such as a phone and fuel, reflective points for added visibility, a built-in safety whistle, and dual adjustable sternum straps for stability and an exact fit. The Zephyr Pro comes supplied with two 17-ounce Quick Stow flasks, is hydration reservoir compatible — up to 1.5-liter — and has a gear capacity of 11-liters.

Trail Run Vest

When hitting the trail with a number plate is not a key factor, the Trail Run Vest (MSRP $100) is the go-to option for beginner runners looking to develop in their sport, while still catering to experienced runners headed out to tackle a personal best. Built from a durable recycled C0 DWR-coated 70D nylon ripstop and paired with 3D vent mesh, the Trail Run Vest is built to fend off the conditions in any environment, while remaining breathable and lightweight.

To keep essentials easily in reach, the vest features two front drop-in pockets and a secure vertical zip pocket, as well as stretch overflow panels on the back for extra layers, totaling 6-liters of gear storage. Features such as a trekking pole attachment, reflectivity, a built-in safety whistle, and dual adjustable sternum straps make the Trail Run Vest a great companion for backcountry missions. Hydration is provided via two 17-ounce Quick Stow flasks and can be expanded with a 1.5-liter reservoir in the back panel for longer endeavors.

Circuit Vest

Continuing its lineage as a best seller in the lineup, the fully redesigned Circuit Vest (MSRP $90) is a sleek option that blends functional features with a larger volume hydration system for those who demand more water on big running missions. Constructed of lightweight C0 DWR-coated 70D nylon ripstop and paired with 3D vent mesh, the Circuit Vest is built to last, so runners can focus on setting their personal best while keeping the load light and airy.

Supplied with CamelBak’s time-tested Crux reservoir to deliver 1.5 liters of water, this vest is the smallest in the lineup with a gear capacity of 5.5 liters for just the essentials. Smart features such as a secure vertical zip phone pocket, drop-in chest pockets for fuel storage, trekking pole attachment, reflectivity, a built-in safety whistle, and dual adjustable sternum straps make the Circuit Vest equally at home on the road or the singletrack.

The new CamelBak Trail Run hydration vest is available now, while the Zephyr Pro and Circuit vests will be available in early spring 2023 at authorized CamelBak resellers and at www.CamelBak.com.
