Downtown Rescue Mission Glow Run 5K Results: Miller, Sillivant Grab Titles

More than 600 runners enjoyed the Downtown Rescue Mission Glow Run 5K on Saturday in Cummings Research Park.

James Miller, 30, claimed the overall title in a time of 18:32, a comfortable 5:58 pace. Easton Dunford, 21, was second in 19:10, and Andy Hissam, 58, was third in 19:59.

Nina Sillivant, 28, was the womens’ champ in 21:55. She was 16th overall. Anna Carlson, 21, was second (25th), in 23:15, and Amber Graves, 28, was third (27th) in 23:17.

All proceeds from the event help the Downtown Rescue Mission in Huntsville. For almost 50 years the mission has helped those in need in north Alabama and southern Tennessee. The event was sponsored by Adtran.
