Fly Fishing Film Festival Lands in Nashville

The International Fly Fishing Film Festival lands in Nashville on Wednesday, featuring top films highlighting fly fishing and the lifestyle from around the world.

The event will be at Pennington Distilling Company. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the films begin at 7. Tickets are $20-45, and available at the door Wednesday for $25.

The event is hosted by Fly South.

Films span the gamut of interests, from Atlantic salmon and Dollar Dog, to attempts to catch the Redeye Slam in Alabama. The latter, featuring Mary Beth Meeks and Matt Lewis as they attempt to catch four redeye species on the Coosa, Cahaba, Warrior and Tallapoosa rivers. Other films highlight fisheries and anglers in Utah, on the Chesapeake, the Amazon, Grand Tetons, Mexico and more.

Nashville is just one of several stops on the film fest tour.
