Gorewear Launches New Concurve Jackets, Tights

Gorewear introduces a new range of products in its heralded, running-focused Concurve franchise, including two jackets and tights all designed for ultimate performance, protection and comfort in cold and wet conditions.

“What sets Gorewear apart in a sea of high-performance run and cycling apparel is our intent: blending unrivaled material technologies from W.L. Gore with the passion and problem-solving of Gorewear’s product design team,” said Jason Zambotti, Gorewear Business Leader. “From full waterproof protection with our Concurve Gore-Tex Jacket, to our anti-wet cling technology that revolutionized the comfort of windbreakers, each addition to the Concurve collection is intended to address performance concerns by real runners, for real runners.”

Multiple Options

The new Concurve Windstopper Insulated Jacket is available in three silhouettes, and represents another ISPO award win for the Concurve product franchise.

This new jacket comes in hooded (MSRP $280), non-hooded (MSRP $260), and vest (MSRP $200) styles, making it an ideal partner on daily runs. Designed from the inside out, the Concurve Insulated Collection is innovative, adaptable and comfortable in all conditions.

Each silhouette uses a Windstopper ePE membrane, PrimaLoft active insulation and DWR finish to allow it to adapt to body temperature while in the elements. As an athlete runs faster, the jacket’s air-permeable face works from the inside-out to ensure more buffered air circulates inside the insulation. This minimizes the risk of overheating and still guarantees protection in cold environments.

A windproof, yet breathable, layer sits directly on the skin. The insulation is positioned as a middle layer behind the permeable outer material. This intentional layering system provides more warmth and protection during low-intensity activities. But heat and moisture can easily escape during higher-intensity activities. The design creates a comfortably regulated body climate without overheating.

Gorewear Hybrid Jacket, Tights

The Concurve Thermo Hybrid Jacket (MSRP $150) is a cozy, versatile midlayer that’s perfect for shoulder season. It features Gorewear’s Kinetic Garment Design with strategically placed wind-resistant fabric panels on the shoulder and core to increase warmth without sacrificing weight, freedom-of-movement or comfort.

Gorewear also is launching its warmest running tights with the Concurve Thermo Hybrid Tights (MSRP $130). The new tights feature 3D-modeled garment patterns following natural movements to allow for maximum comfort and freedom of movement for every stride. Strategically positioned double-weave wind protection on the front of the thighs, alongside high-stretch thermal knit fabric to ensure the tights keep out all unwanted chills.
