Gorewear Unveils New Spring 2025 Line for Outdoors

Runners, riders and outdoors enthusiasts will perk up at the new Gorewear lineup for Spring 2025, led by the new Lupra 2.0 items.

The lineup features an update of the best-selling Endure Jacket alongside its eponymous pants and shorts. These feature a PFAS-free Gore-Tex ePE laminate. Systematically designed to offer the highest levels of comfort – from next-to-skin comfort to waterproof protection – this collection of innovative products enables athletes to perform at their best.

I’ve worn the Gorewear Concurve jacket for the past several months in a variety of conditions, including summer. I don’t recommend it for that season or high-humid temps, to be honest, if you’re in athletic move-move-move mode. However, for rainy conditions or chilly nights, like that weird evening at the beach when you wanted another layer, they’re great. In autumn and winter, for knocking off the rain and keeping you warm, the Concurve is super. I suggest the Spinshift for a lighter alternative with no hood, or the new Lupra 2.0 with a hood designed for helmets.

I’ve worn clothing with Gore-Tex protection for years for running, biking, fishing, hunting and general use. The Concurve jacket is one of my favorites, for obvious reasons. It keeps me dry and warm, first and foremost. But the little things with the Gorewear designs make a difference. Things like a snug but-not-too-tight cuff to keep water from running up my arm. Zippered pockets are waterproof, too.

Gorewear continues to provide myriad options for outdoors enthusiasts enjoying every season. The new and updated items below will be big hits, no doubt.

Lupra 2.0

Gorewear’s best-selling Endure Jacket, as well as its eponymous pants and shorts, now feature a PFAS-free Gore-Tex ePE laminate. These will continue to provide outstanding performance and comfort in varied conditions while eliminating PFAS in the materials. The new Lupra range features the 2.0 Gore-Tex Jacket (MSRP $260), Lupra Gore-Tex Pant ($200), and Lupra Gore-Tex Shorts ($180).

The Lupra range is thinner, lighter and more sustainable, and replaces the Endure lineup. Gorewear is carrying over the elements that have made these products the brand’s best-selling waterproof biking apparel.

Each Lupra style maintains its designation as rugged and rainproof, and utilizes Gorewear’s kinetic garment design to improve freedom of movement. Kinetic garment design maps the product on a 3D model to strategically cut and position fabric panels to better move and flex with the rider.

Concurve Shorts

Gorewear continues to grow its Concurve lineup of running apparel after the booming success of the Concurve Gore-Tex Jacket in Spring 2024. In addition to a new windbreaker style coming this spring, Gorewear is introducing seven new pairs of Concurve shorts.

Men’s new short styles:
— Concurve 5-inch (MSRP $50 USD)
— Concurve 7-inch Shorts ($60)
— Concurve 5-inch Brief Shorts ($60)
— Concurve 5-inch 2-in-1 Shorts ($70)

Women’s new short styles:
— Concurve 3-inch Shorts ($50)
— Concurve 3-inch Brief Shorts ($60)
— Concurve 3-inch 2-in-1 Shorts ($70)

Biking Bib Comfort

Gorewear began refreshing its cycling bib shorts in Spring 2024. The evolution of the range continues this season with four distinct bib shorts for every type of rider.

New for Spring 2025, the Swiftride Bib Short (MSRP $100) is designed for moderate length road and gravel rides. It features an updated chamois pad with adjusted foam densities for improved comfort, ventilation and moisture management. An open mesh back with wide, supportive straps round out these comfort-first bibs. The Swiftride Bib Shorts are available in men’s and women’s options. A more graphic-forward “Optical” version is also available.

Gorewear’s Spinshift Bib Short ($160), Spinshift Cargo Bib Short ($180), Distance Bib Shorts ($200), and Ultimate Bib Short ($280) return from Spring 2024 to round out the collection.
