Grab Your Helmet for This Crazy Fast Downhill Run

Rémy Métailler is crazy fast.

Originally from France, he moved to Whistler BC, in 2013 for his passion for Mountain Biking and skiing. After riding the bike park for a season straight and filming two main edits, Rémy quickly became the face of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park producing around 10 Bike Park videos there in 5 years and changing the vision of people on how the bike park can be ridden. He now focuses on the most iconic freeriding event: Red Bull Rampage as well as the main Urban Downhill in South America. Rémy is now a full-time resident of BC and spends his days riding the trails of Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton as well as training for the upcoming events or testing products for his different sponsors.

How fast is Rémy? Take a look at his YouTube video titled “Remy Metailler destroys Squamish Bike Trails – Raw”:

Named by The New York Times as one of the top 52 Places to Go, Canada’s Squamish is recognized internationally as a mecca for windsurfing, rock climbing, hiking and mountain biking.

Squamish is nestled between Vancouver and Whistler along the Sea to Sky corridor, one of North America’s most scenic coastal routes. Its spectacular 360-degree views range from snow-capped mountains to glacial lakes to old-growth forests to the turquoise waters of the Howe Sound fjord that look almost too good to be true.

Inhabited by North America’s highest concentration of wintering bald eagles, Squamish is an authentic West Coast mountain town with an award-winning craft brewery and distillery, farm to table dining experiences, sidewalk cafés, driftwood beaches, a rich First Nations culture and an expansive network of walking, hiking and mountain biking trails begging to share your adventure.

Squamish’s network of trails is used by walkers, hikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders, trials riders and dirt bikers. Local community organizations spend countless hours maintaining the trails and work with various levels of government to construct new ones. A passionate group of community volunteers helps support these efforts throughout the year.
