Among Hoka’s new introductions for 2023, the Transport hits a home run in the lifestyle catgory for relaxed daily wear.
We saw the Transport at The Running Event last November and my first thought was “Sweet, something to wear around without looking like running shoes.” I don’t mind wearing running shoes; my Clifton 8 are fine with jeans out with friends, at a casual dinner or even church events. But the Transport kicks it up a little better.
The Transport are neutral with balanced cushion, with nothing for stabilzation or pronation issues. Hoka says the Transport is a “commuter-friendly style (that) offers a multitude of sustainability features across the outsole, midsole, and upper.”
Among the features:
- Quick-toggle lace
- Traditional laces included
- 360-defrees of reflectivity
- Cordura® abrasion-resistant textile upper
- Compression molded EVA midsole with 30% sugarcane
- Vibram EcoStep Natural outsole that uses 90 percent oi-free components.
Four colors and 13 sizes are available for women, and three colors and 15 sizes for men, including black upper/soles for both. Men’s sizes include 14 and 15.
