Injinji, innovators of the patented five-toe Performance Toesock, has launched its new Performance Shirt Collection featuring a minimalist, performance-based design.
The new line was designed with Injinji’s community of runners, hikers, and adventurers in mind. It is engineered with the same commitment to quality and durability as its heritage toesock line. Injinji’s Performance Shirt Collection stays true to the Injinji brand with its minimalist, performance-based design.
“This collection embraces and expands upon what Injinji has been about since 1999, which is simplicity, comfort, and high-performance,” said Claire Kooperman, Injinji’s Director, Ecommerce and Operations. “We are excited to introduce a new facet of Injinji, injecting our passion for and commitment to quality and adaptability to a new category of performance wear for the everyday athlete and adventurer.”
Crafted from moisture-wicking fabric with 4-way stretch, each piece within the collection features an anti-chafe neckline and ultra-soft threads to keep athletes irritation-free. These features combine for durability, unrestrictive movement, and effortless functionality for run, hike, travel and lifestyle options.
These serve as the first step to Injinji’s performance wear line and overall brand progression. The Performance Shirt Collection will include Men’s short-sleeve and long-sleeve styles, ranging from size Small to X-Large. Women’s short-sleeve and long-sleeve styles will range from size X-Small to X-Large in select colors such as Gray, Navy, and Emerald.
The short-sleeve style retails for $40, and the long-sleeve style for $45.
The Performance Shirt Collection is available exclusively on Injinji.com.
Toe Socks and More
I’ve been wearing the Injinji toe socks for almost two years and love them, moreso after figuring out which ones I prefer for different activities.
As with many sock companies, Injinji offers different versions. Some are thinner and “no show,” for example. I have others that are thicker and ankle-height for trails. Finding the ones that work best for your activity is important, just like with any other apparel or gear.
If you’re thinking, “Ewww, that’s weird” then that’s fine. But if you haven’t tried it, give it a shot even if you have gnarly or beautiful feet. (Men, trim those disgusting toenails!) Injinji’s toe socks are comfortable. I’m looking forward to seeing how these new shirts feel and hold up. We will have a review of them soon. (Alan Clemons, TVO Editor)
