OS1st Launches New Wicked Comfort Merino Performance Socks

OS1st is taking its best-selling Wicked Comfort Performance Socks line into the wild with the new Merino Wool Wicked Comfort Performance Socks.

“Wicked Comfort changed the performance sock category with maximum cushion and lab-proven performance,” said Josh Higgins, President of OS1st. “With Merino wool, we’ve taken that same DNA and elevated the natural fiber category. We created an all-in-one sock you’ll pack for every adventure, but you’ll end up wearing every day.”

Designed for outdoor adventure and all-day comfort, this new sock blends the natural performance of Merino wool with the proven durability and moisture-management technology. Merino wool socks offer natural thermoregulation, odor resistance and softness, which is perfect for running, hiking, walking,or all-season styles. The result is a versatile performance sock that adapts to whatever the day brings.

Independent lab testing, comparing Merino Wool Wicked Comfort Performance Socks to other popular brands, showed that the new OS1st socks wick moisture up to eight times faster. This keeps feet drier for longer in the most demanding conditions. The new Merino wool socks also tested twice as durable.

Merino Wool Wicked Comfort Performance Socks are available at independent retailers across the U.S.

Why Try These?

I’ve used OS1st compression Foot Sleeves and other socks for several years thanks to a balky ankle and a long history of dealing with plantar fascitis. The latter has abated, thankfully, but now and again I’ll get a twinge. The compression sleeves are a champ at providing a bit of reassurance under my regular socks on the road and brace when I’m on trails.

Merino wool? Big fan here for years, for running, biking, hiking, hunting, fishing and everyday wear. Merino is my go-to in winter, for sure, whether I’m on the road or trail, in camo in the woods with hunting boots or in a stream wading for steelhead up north. They work even in summer, too. Merino is comfortable, warm, wicking and not “that itchy wool” like in the olden days.

Socks are a personal preference, of course. These new ones from OS1st are worth your consideration.
