This marks the largest sponsorship in the 39-year history of Magic Sports. It also signifies investment in the growth and development of its races across Tennessee and Kentucky. Publix will be the title/presenting sponsor for several of Magic Sports’ high-profile races, including:

- Publix Chattanooga Waterfront Triathlon, June 23, Chattanooga
- Tri Louisville presented by Publix, July 14, Louisville
- Publix Riverbluff Triathlon, Aug. 11, Ashland City, Tennessee
Publix also will be an event sponsor for the Eddie Ferrell Music City Triathlon in Nashville on June 2.
Partnership Aims to Invest in Healthy Communities
“We are incredibly excited to collaborate with Publix,” said Joe Fleenor, President of Magic Sports. “Their commitment to helping to foster healthy communities and being passionately focused on customer value aligns perfectly with our core mission. This partnership not only represents a significant milestone for Magic Sports, but also a fantastic opportunity for the communities we serve in Tennessee and Kentucky.”
“At Publix, we are always seeking ways to invest in our communities,” said Michelle Mandley, Regional Marketing Manager of Publix. “Partnering with Magic Sports, known for their exceptionally well-organized and popular races, allows us to engage directly with the communities we serve. We are proud to support events that foster health, wellness, and community spirit.”
This strategic partnership will elevate the profile of these popular athletic events and strengthen the bond between the communities and Publix. Also, the goal is to foster health and wellness through endurance sports.
