Jose Munoz and Sheridan Santinga claimed top honors in the second annual Race for Justice 10K on Labor Day at Joe Davis Stadium.
The 10K, 5K and 1-mile fun run are presented by the Madison County Volunteer Lawyers Program. Proceeds from the events benefit the Madison County Volunteer Lawyers Program. The program assists low-income individuals in the county gain access to justice via pro bono legal services provided by local attorneys.
Munoz won the overall 10K title in 42:01, by almost a minute over runner-up Christopher Ranguette. He finished in 42:53. Hutton Schrorer was third in 43:01.
Santinga was ninth overall in 46:45 and took the women’s division. Rachel Joffrion was right behind her, finishing 10t in 46:53. Amanda Warriner was third (14th) in 48:08.

Race for Justice 5K
Keaton Schrorer won the Race for Justice 5K in 18:42 at Joe Davis Stadium.
Malia Gill was second in 19:12, and Matt Fletcher was third in 19:19.
