Oofos introduces the new OOmy Zen, a minimalist active rcovery shoe offering effortless wearability for everyday moments.
The OOmy Zen offers a harmonious blend of seamless knit and OOfoam technology. Designed with simplicity at the forefront, the OOmy Zen features a precisely engineered seamless circular knit upper with bands that mimic the peaceful lines of a zen garden and hug the heel and instep.
The seamless upper was developed to reduce pressure for a secure, sock-like fit that offers ultimate pliability, flexibility and mobility in a lightweight package. A new, advanced version of Oofos’ patented footbed features a rounded, cupped heel design to enhance impact absorption and stability with every step. This evolved footbed couples with the brand’s proprietary OOfoam technology to absorb impact like no other. The result is less constriction and more freedom; less pressure, more relief – a shoe that is made to move the way your body moves.
The OOmy Zen design team, led by footwear industry veteran, Dan Hobson, drew initial inspiration from wanting to recreate the feeling of wearing a slide with socks.
“With the OOmy Zen, we wanted to reimagine footwear through the lens of active recovery, focusing on the principles of restoration, healing and relaxation,” Hobson said. “We were able to balance serenity and style with our proven technology to create a shoe that simulates the comfort of throwing on your favorite sweatshirt.”
OOmy Zen is available chalk, chalk & black, and foliage colors for men, and chalk, chalk & black, and coral colors for women. The MSRP for the OOmy Zen is $159.95. Additional colors will arrive in the coming months.
