Lace up for one of the most enjoyable and fun spring events, the annual UAH Spring Road Race 8K presented by the Huntsville Track Club.
This popular 8K race runs through the UAH campus. Since it’s on a closed course and Sunday afternoon, traffic will not be a problem. The UAH campus provides a relatively flat course, too, with only a few small hills. Part of this course is in theTurkey Trot each Thanksgiving. The Spring Road Race 8K is a fun way to spend time amid new tree buds and blooming flowers.
Splits and aid station assistance will be provided. There is no Pump-N-Run Competition due to virus protocols.
The race will benefit the Huntsville Dialysis Center. A donation will be made in remembrance of longtime HTC member Earl Jacoby.
Late registration and race packets will be available on Saturday, the day before the race, from 12-4 p.m. at Fleet Feet Sports on Carl T. Jones Drive in Huntsville. Pickup also wil be at the race site starting at 1 p.m. until 15 minutes before the start of the race.
