Matthew Ray finished first at the Carnival Frolic 13.1 Half Marathon on Feb. 26 in Decatur in a time of 1:13:46, with Carrie Heidrich claiming top female honors in 1:28:20.
Suzanne Taylor of Hampton Cove took top Female Masters in 1:40:55. Robert Perdue of Russellville was the top Male Masters finisher in 1:21:52. The race was put on by the River City Runners in Decatur and had a field of 147 on a chilly, windy day.
