Whitehead won the 10K title, too, crossing in 34:27 with a comfortable 5:33 mile pace. That’s a little slower than his winning time in the HTC 10-Miler the previous weekend, but nothing anyone would sniff at, for sure.
John Glidwell, 66, of Athens, was second in 35:45, and Lamp was third in 37:34.
Aleah Gutherie, 33, of Nashville, was the women’s champ in 52:02 and was ninth overall. Daisy Hernandez was second in 53:24 (12th), and Amber Graves, 37, of Florence, was third (14th) in 55:25.
The 5K had 68 runners and the 10K had 53.
