Registrations have hit record numbers for this weekend’s 49th annual Rocket City Marathon, affiliated races and Fleet Feet Expo at the Von Braun Center South Hall.
The annual Rocket City Marathon, held in December, has again been voted No. 1 in Alabama by runners who appreciate the fun course and Huntsville scenery.
Registration for the 49th Rocket City Marathon and weekend events is on pace for a record field that will see changes to the course and an updated logo.
Proceeds from the Rocket City Marathon will benefit the Huntsville Hospital Pediatric Department in a new partnership between the Huntsville Track Club and Huntsville Hospital Foundation.
