Just days before the 49th annual Rocket City Marathon races begin, the cold concrete floor and sterile walls of the Von Braun Center South Hall are empty. That changes quickly, though, with a flurry of activity.
Registrations have hit record numbers for this weekend’s 49th annual Rocket City Marathon, affiliated races and Fleet Feet Expo at the Von Braun Center South Hall.
The annual Rocket City Marathon, held in December, has again been voted No. 1 in Alabama by runners who appreciate the fun course and Huntsville scenery.
