Turtlebox Unveils New Ranger, the Ultimate Portable Outdoor Speaker

If you need music for the vibes or to keep up with a favorite podcast, Turtlebox Audio has released its new Turtlebox Ranger portable outdoors speaker.

The Ranger speaker combines best-in-class audio quality with the most advanced Bluetooth technology and extended battery life. it is housed in a rugged, 100 percent waterproof ultra-portable package. Designed for outdoor listening, the Ranger boasts one powerful Class D digital amplifier capable of 105dB at maximum volume. The Ranger includes a pair of 2-inch waterproof drivers that provide clear, crisp sound, while its passive 2×4-inch speaker provides an improved bass response.

What’s In It?

Equipped with a 25.3 Wh battery pack and Bluetooth 5.4, the Ranger speaker provides multiple hours of listening time through the best available wireless technology. A waterproof USB-C input / output allows for quick, easy external charging capabilities for personal devices. Further, the “Party Mode” technology enables users to wirelessly link 100+ Turtlebox speakers for the ultimate listening experience.

The Ranger’s ABS crush-proof and IP67 rated waterproof housing protects the speaker from Mother Nature’s harshest elements. Stainless steel hardware and silicone components ensure protection against potential corrosion. Weighing just 2.4 pounds, the Ranger is the most portable option within the company’s lineup.

Additional external features include two powerful magnets. These allow for the Ranger to be secured while on-the-go. Another top feature is a breather, which helps to maintain performance in extended temperature ranges.

The Ranger has an MSRP of $220. It joins the brand’s award-winning Gen 2 Portable Speaker ($400) and the recently released Grande speaker ($700). It is available in Ivory, Tan, River Rock and Gray color options via TurtleboxAudio.com.
