What's outside in Huntsville, Decatur, Chattanooga, Knoxville and the Great Smoky Mountains

TVO Roundup: Philadelphia Marathon, Chickamauga Battlefield, Magic City Half and Huntsville Half

It was a quiet weekend around the area, but a few big events featured top finishes from area runners in our TVO Roundup.

Locally, the 20th Dizzy 50 ultra took place at Monte Sano State Park, with James Ebert winning his first Dizzy title. This holiday week also has a full slate of Turkey Trot events throughout the TVO footprint. Whether you live here or will visit the region from Knoxville to Florence, there’s probably a trot for you.

Don’t forget about the Ditto Landing 10K on Sunday, too. Sign up so you can run or walk off all those delicious bites of turkey, taters, Aunt Maude’s green bean casserole, more turkey and that weird jello-fruit-whipped dessert with nuts that only shows up at the holidays.
