Visit Tuscaloosa Half Marathon, 5K Registration Slated for Oct. 23

The Visit Tuscaloosa Half Marathon and 5K registration will open Oct. 23 with special offers for early birds.

Runners are encouraged to seize the opportunity to secure an exclusive limited time offer of $50 for the Half Marathon and $20 for the 5K from Oct. 23-25. Early bird prices will be available after Oct. 25 at $65 for the Half Marathon and $25 for the 5K.

Wagner’s RunWalk, located at 420 Queen City Ave., will host a kickoff run party on Monday at 5:30 pm. Attendees can win prizes, including free entries to the Tuscaloosa Half Marathon or 5K. Also, up for grabs are a pair of top-quality shoes from Wagner’s (valued at $140), a comprehensive running assessment (valued at $150) from Physiolete, and other assorted goodies.

Participants can look forward to complimentary beer (21+), bites, information on training plans, and a welcoming running community. Additionally, the first 50 individuals to provide proof of registration for the Half Marathon or 5K will receive a free In-Training shirt. And, the entry to this kickoff event is open to all and is free of charge.
