Lone Peak 9
The Lone Peak 9 builds on its legacy as a trusted companion for trail enthusiasts. The previous version was introduced a year ago. It features a redesigned ripstop mesh upper with durable no-sew overlays. Its MaxTrac outsole ensures sticky grip and enhanced durability. The refreshed Altra EGO midsole balances plush comfort with a responsive connection to the ground.
With Altra’s signature Original FootShape Fit, shoe provides ample room for toes to splay. It also provides a natural feel through the midfoot, encouraging a more comfortable and efficient stride. It weighs 9.3 oz (263.65 g) in women’s sizes (8.5) and 11.15 oz (316 g) in men’s sizes (10.5).
For more grip and performance, the Lone Peak 9+ debuts March 1, exclusively at REI and AltraRunning.com. This premium version introduces a Vibram Megagrip outsole, offering unparalleled traction on wet and dry surfaces. It weighs 9.3 oz (263.7 g) in women’s sizes (8.5) and 11.55 oz (327.4 g) in men’s sizes (10.5).
These and other hiker and waterproof models are available in a range of colors for men and women.
