Teva has introduced the first-of-its-kind trail running sandal — the Aventrail — built for an uninhibited run experience.
Aventrail was created to bridge a gap in the trail running market between running sandals with minimal support and modern running shoes with underfoot innovation and cushion. It delivers the responsiveness of a running shoe and sensation of a sandal. Aventrail is built for the backcountry with a foot-hugging W Strapping System, Hyper-Comf underfoot cushioning, and durable Spider Rubber outsole with tiered traction lugs for grip on trails.
“The difference between a true performance trail running sandal and trail running shoe is the elevated experience of freedom. Aventrail’s key differentiator is the engineered knit sandal upper, which offers breathability. The forefoot lockdown, combined with the responsiveness of Hyper-Comf cushioning and the durable Spider Rubber outsole, offers ample support on downhill descents. The W Strapping System provides a secure, personalized fit. This allows for a unique sensation of forefoot freedom with less material on the upper compared to a standard running shoe. Aventrail can be worn with or without socks based on the runner’s preference.
