GU Energy Labs has two new flavors in the Liquid Energy family of fast-acting nutrition: Plain & Simple and PassionFruit Orange Guava (POG).
These new flavors range from mild to wild. The addition of Plain & Simple is GU’s first neutral profile in the Liquid Energy line, and with POG joins a vibrant, fun and refreshing flavor ideal for summer. Like all of GU’s gels, these deliver a no-chew, easy-to-sip source of sustained energy to support any level of athlete. GU developers worked with its team of elite endurance athletes to consider evolving flavor preferences during physical activity.

For Plain & Simple, the grand unveiling will take place June 27-28 at Western States Endurance Race. This legendary 100-mile trail running race is where GU pioneered its Original Gel formula in 1989. As the event’s exclusive nutrition sponsor, Plain & Simple will be located at on-course aid stations.

Each is packed with 95-100 calories and 19-21g of carbohydrates per packet for quick energy, 75mg of sodium to support hydration, and 450mg of amino acids to help delay muscle fatigue.
