The new Comfort Fit Ultra Light Hiker is the lightest and most nimble full-featured boot in Meindl USA‘s Comfort Fit lineup.
The Ultra Light Hiker is designed for hikers and everyday outdoor users who want waterproof protection, dependable traction and Meindl fit quality without the weight of a traditional hiking boot. At 2.85 pounds per pair and 6 inches tall with an A/B flex-use rating, it flexes and moves with the foot instead of working against it. For adventurers who prefer the feel of a trail runner but are not willing to give up waterproofing and build quality, it is the ideal fit.
Every component and design feature was chosen to keep weight down without sacrificing durability or performance. A suede leather upper and strategically placed mesh-knit zones cut weight while adding breathability and flexibility, and a GORE-TEX lining handles wet trails and unexpected rain without adding bulk. Underfoot, an EVA midsole, a Comfort Fit cork insole that molds to the foot and the Meindl Multigrip sole deliver lasting comfort and dependable traction across packed dirt, gravel and wet pavement.
Proprietary Tech
Meindl’s proprietary Comfort Fit Technology is the foundation of the new model. Offering a wider, more accommodating toe box and added width at the ball of the foot, the anatomically correct Comfort Fit Last works with the natural shape of the foot to create a straighter alignment of the big toe. This increases stability and comfort while reducing pressure points.
