Sawyer, CNOC Collaborate for New Portable Water Filter

If you’re out hiking, running trails, biking or otherwise enjoying the outdoors, water is a critical aspect of the trip. No matter what the season, staying hydrated is important. Sawyer and CNOC Outdoors have collaborated to make it easier to do so with a new top-tier portable water filtration system.

The new Sawyer Squeeze Water Filtration System with CNOC premium 2-liter bladder will launch nationwide in spring. Sawyer is a leader in portable water filtration solutions, and CNOC Outdoors has a long history as a pioneer in outdoor hydration. The Squeeze Water Filtration System is great for outdoors activities, hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, emergency prep, and traveling abroad. The system currently is available at REI and via Sawyer’s webstore.

“CNOC has revolutionized the long-distance hiking industry with their premium pouches and bladders, which are frequently paired with a Sawyer filter,” said Travis Avery, Sawyer’s Sales and Marketing Director.. “After extensive discussions with CNOC and its owner, Sawyer determined the timing was ideal to collaborate. This resulted in three unique variations designed to meet the needs of a wide range of outdoor enthusiasts.”

The portable water filtration system includes Sawyer’s 0.1-micron absolute hollow-fiber membrane Squeeze Water Filter. This filter removes 99.99999 percent of bacteria (such as salmonella, cholera, and E. coli), 99.9999 percent of protozoa (including giardia and cryptosporidium), and 100 percent of microplastics.

The filter is paired with the light, yet extremely durable CNOC Vecto 2L bladder. This FDA-approved bladder is free from BPA, BPS, and BPF, ensuring safety and reliability. The reusable filter system includes a cleaning coupling and plunger, offering an impressive lifespan of up to 100,000 gallons.
